Girly, yes, but D.Wade likes it too
TheHype* is concerned that just by mentioning the name *whispers* Jane Austen he might start leaking testosterone out of his ears.
Well, we’ve got two words for you, plebe:
We believe the proper term to be used at the present juncture would be “pwn3d.”
*Ungentlemanlike language warning.

I really want to hate Dwayne Wade since his Heat beat my beloved Mavs two years ago in the finals. But after clicking on the link and reading all of the articles about him that I have over the past two years it’s becoming increasingly difficult. Damn you, Wade! Why couldn’t you be an illiterate jock? Now, I have to like you!
Just out of curiosity, did you ever score a poster, Mags? I’d like to get one for my sports obsessed, avid reader 8 year old but I realize chances are slim to none.

I didn’t! Wasn’t there a link on that thread to download it as a PDF? Is it still working?

Ah yeah! I remember seeing that post a while ago, kudos … but this NBA and Austen thing is quickly becoming a pandemic
(Oh and come on, I used a bit of French, that’s like 67% gentlemanlike, non?)

Hey, when we say “she’s everywhere,” we really mean she’s everywhere!
My friend Diane Wilkes, author of The Tarot of Jane Austen, would love to talk basketball with you–Sixers and Tarheels. I am more of a hockey and baseball girl, myself.

I’d love to talk basketball with your friend but she’s probably more an expert on that sport than I. My knowledge level is football, basketball, baseball and hockey. I love them all, well except I get a little bored with baseball but that’s most likely due to the fact that the Rangers are my hometown team.
