More S&S07 cast members
Alert Janeites Sylvia M. and Franka let us know that a poster on the S&S07 forum at the IMDB, who appears to be involved in the production in some capacity, said that Mark Williams, David Morrissey and Janet McTeer are in the film. Previous reports indicate that David Morrissey is playing Colonel Brandon; no idea about the other two, but the poster has promised more information. Sylvia M. speculates that Mark Williams is playing Sir John Middleton and Janet McTeer Mrs. Dashwood, both of which make sense to us.

And it also started shooting! I hope that means we will get more information about the actors, the screenplay, the locations and whatsoever soon…

Sigh…David Morrissey was born in 1964, I was born in 1965…when I first read S&S I was Marianne’s age…now I should be wearing a flannel waistcoat too, ouch, espcially this morning… “But he talked of flannel waistcoats,” said Marianne; “and with me a flannel waistcoat is invariably connected with aches, cramps, rheumatisms, and every species of ailment that can afflict the old and the feeble.”

David Morrissey is Colonel Brandon? Wow, I’ve only seen him as the creepy Bradley Headstone in Our Mutual Friend. This will be a completely different role! (I mean more that it will be different for me).

If it’s true about David Morrissey, I’ll be one happy camper. Is that Mark Gatiss as in ‘The League of Gentleman’ Mark Gatiss does anyone know?
