Conjured up from thin air
Some of our readers have mentioned in comments something that we’ve been wondering about ourself…if ITV is putting on its “Jane Austen Season” this autumn, shouldn’t they be filming the bally movies, like, NOW? Billie Piper has been cast in MP, but there hasn’t been any other news that we’ve caught. Of course, they might be hiding from us so we don’t have a chance to pre-snark.

Perhaps they think that if they keep quiet we’ll generate publicity and interest for them. I am certainly looking forward to the “season.” Though I will have to wait for the DVDs. Poor me.

NA2 starts pre-production in Ireland 3 July. The director is Jon Jones (can’t determine if he’s the one listed in IMDB). No cast list yet.
