I went to see Jane Austen last night in Canberra and its a wonderful pastiche of history, biography and music starring soiprano Sara Macliver, who can act and her accompanist Bernadette Balkus. Its well worth seeing cos in an hour and a qaurter the “ghosts” of jane and Cassandra manage to pack in a whole Austen life, and a good fight as well!!!
