My knee-jerk reaction was YIKES! when I saw that seductive glance. Then I realised with that hair and dress, there’s no way she was supposed to be Lizzie. Scrolled down and found the proper photo. Have no idea what Lost in Austen itself will like, but I think Gemma definitely looks the part. She has a face that could pull off that ‘playful, arch manner’ very well indeed.

Karenlee: I perfectly agree with you. I was kind of alarmed when I saw the website header with the seductive glance and modern black dress…but then I saw the real pic a little while down. Looks-wise, she seems to be a little bit like an Elizabeth Bennet

She “stands out from everyone else”, and “has all of Keira Knightley’s qualities”…Does anyone else find that contradictory? And she looks more tired than “extraordinarily beautiful”
