Jane Austen DVD store at Amazon

Filed under: Merchandise, Online, Screen — Mags @ 7:05 am

Alert Janeite JennaL sent us a link to a Jane Austen DVD Store at Amazon. Nothing we don’t already know about, but hey, one-stop shopping, right? And as Jenna pointed out, it’s fun to look through.

We also can’t resist taking the opportunity to link to JASNA’s Austen on Film Section, which has a list of just about all the movies available to purchase, and then some.

    The DVD of;

    Jane Austen: Life, Society & Works (1997) on the list seems to be available, but where and how does one order them?
    I found no link and amazom.com/uk don’t have it.

    Reeba, I found it on Amazon US, but it’s Region 1. (Note the “Starring Jane Austen”!!!) JASNA’s availability correlates to the U.S. and Canada, basically; I linked it here thinking of reviews, and letting people know what is out there. I wonder if this is the same thing renamed and repackaged? (I’ve seen it. It’s okay but not worth driving yourself nuts over. The A&E Biography is rather better.)

    Thanks Mags.

    I think it *is* the same thing renamed and repackaged.
    The only reason i picked this one was because it lasts two hours plus. :-D
