P&P on stage in Payson, Arizona

Filed under: Stage — Mags @ 7:23 am

Payson High School will present Pride and Prejudice on February 28 and 29 and March 1 at 7:30 p.m. each night. Tickets are $3-5.

We don’t think they are responsible for the “Austin” and the “merry olde Victorian-era England.” :-)

Thanks to Alert Janeite Lisa for the link!

How embarrassing for my home state! ;-) I have emailed to the newspaper to ask for a correction on both mistakes, and I have emailed the drama teacher at the high school to offer our help in any upcoming projects, and to greet her students on JASNA’s behalf.

Payson is a gorgeous town in the pine forests of the upper Mogollan Rim. (That’s pronounced “Muggy-on” by the way.) Not a bad drive from Tucson and a very nice place to spend the weekend. I might talk my husband into attending.

I agree. Payson is just lovely! I was amazed to drive minutes out of the boiling Sonorian Desert into a refreshing pine forest in the mountains! What a surprise!
Arizona is an amazing state with so much variety. Don’t worry about the newspaper errors- the reporter was probably from out-of-state. Tee-hee!
