Mansfield Park 2007 DVD available in Spain (Region 2)
Alert Janeite Carmen of JAcastellano let us know that the DVD of MP07 is available in Spain (Region 2). Looks like there’s a Spanish dubbed track, and Spanish subtitles as well.

So here’s another DVD cover to add to my list of “what on earth!” covers. Who on earth is that gray haired gentleman on the front cover? I don’t remember seeing him in the cast list (or in any clips of the film I’ve seen). I didn’t know the Bertram’s servant Baddley figured so prominently in the movie.
The funniest part to my mind is that of the actor’s names on the cover the only one not pictured is Michelle Ryan (Mary Crawford). My Miss Ryan has aged quite a bit, changed hairstyles too! If this is supposed to be the lovely Miss Crawford, Edmund must indeed be blind!

Yes, I asked myself when I saw the cover: who’s the man? Is him in extra-deleted scenes? Is he related to the Crawfords?

I’m very surprised. First, because it’s so strange to get this adaptation instead of another good one :D, then, because of the covers, and of course, the mistery old gentleman.
