Dates for Masterpiece Theatre’s Jane Austen season
To go along with the announcement of air dates in Canada for some of the new TV adaptations of Jane Austen’s work, Alert Janeite Laurie reminds us that the air dates for the individual films in Masterpiece Theatre’s Complete Jane Austen have been released. January 13, 2008 - Persuasion
January 20, 2008 - Northanger Abbey
January 27, 2008 - Mansfield Park
February 3, 2008 - Miss Austen Regrets
February 10-24, 2008 - Pride and Prejudice (3 2-hour episodes)
Pledge drive, March 2-16; no films aired
March 23, 2008 - Emma
March 30-April 6, 2008 - Sense and Sensibility (2 90-minute episodes)
In the UK, it looks like Miss Austen Regrets is due this autumn and last we heard, Sense and Sensibility will be broadcast in early 2008.

Oh, I will be out of the country for Miss Austen Regrets,which makes me quite sad. Will have to ask a friend to TIVO it for me.

Yay! I’m glad Persuasion and Northanger Abbey shall be first I shall enjoy watching them on a bigger screen ^-^

are those dates also for Canada? Or are the Canadian dates ONLY the ones in the last entry? Because if they are also Canadian dates…I’m in town for most of them! Yay! Finally Canadians who don’t have BBC can watch Jane Austen tv movies!
