Great show, Mags! Congratulations. Now, please refresh my memory… Who is Colin Firth, again?

  2. Mags Says:

Well, I did put in a good word for Da Man.

  3. robin Says:

Yes .. and you put in a very good word for Jennifer Ehle, too! Thanks - an excellent show (but, confirmed that I cannot listen to the radio & work at the same time!)

  4. Anonymous Says:

I enjoyed listening to what I heard of the show. I only heard the last half of it. Is it going to be in an archive?

  5. Amo Says:

Sorry to be OT, but anyone seen this: http://arts.guardian.co.uk/theatre/drama/story/0,,2152444,00.html So frustratingly close yet so far from actually *telling* us anything.

  6. Ben M Says:

Here’s a direct link to the podcast (via iTunes Store). I’m listening to it now that I have a break at work.

  7. Reeba Says:

Thank you Mags for spreading the word around about there being more to Jane Austen than the romance and Colin Firth (much as I have liked him as Darcy ;-)

The international appeal of Jane Austen was so well confirmed by calls from the Iranian and Chinese ladies.
And this post by an Indian LOL!

Well, must get back to doing something now :-)

  8. Sylvia M. Says:

Thank you, Ben M, for posting that podcast link. I’ll listen to the part I missed when I get the opportunity!

Reeba, you’re Indian? I didn’t know that. Are you the same one who posts on Pemberley.com that likes the “Ones” adaptations the best? Did you like “Bride and Prejudice”?

  9. Reeba Says:

    Yes, Sylvia :-)
    I am the same.
I loved Bride and Prejudice. Energetic dances and music, colourful, and a taste of back home :-)

  10. Mags Says:

You can download the podcast directly from WHYY, too.

I’m glad everyone enjoyed the show!

  11. Teresa Says:
