Lizzy Bennet: The Series
We’re kind of surprised it hasn’t happened yet, actually.
As one Hollywood agent said to me: ” I would kill to represent that woman. I could get her multiple overall deals with every studio in town, plus a play-or-play for a series based on that Lizzie-I’m-not-prejudiced-chick. Sheesh, you sure she’s like dead?”
We retire, torn between hilarity and horror.

Wait– Jane’s dead!?
That would explain why she never replied to my fanmail…
The sad thing is, Hollywood actually does things like this. Does anyone remember, back when P&P3 came out, the producer who was surprised to learn how long ago Jane Austen died? Apparently, she was wanted for some film publicity.
Sadly, I would pay to see a series based on Lizzy Bennet, no matter how horrible.

Well Elizabeth, there is some actual quality fanfic out there. Who knows? Maybe some of it will be filmed one day.
