New ITV Winter Season preview
Thanks to Alert Janeite Heather L for finding this, and also to Alert Janeite Franka for reporting it in comments, since we were too lazy (and busy) to blog all weekend.
ITV has put up a new trailer for its Winter Season, featuring scenes from Northanger Abbey 2007 definitely, and possibly some of the other films. Unfortunately we have no time to parse it this morning, so discuss away.

It’s difficult to tell much evaluate with such small fragments, but if Felicity Jones’ acting is even half as compelling as her beauty, Northanger should prove to be quite impressive.

Ooooh, a little glimpse of JJ Feild! I’m quite excited about Northanger Abbey, especially since I totally agree with Mags that Henry Tilney is Da Man.

It looks to me like all the fragments on this clip were from Northanger Abbey. It looks quite good. *little squee* What was Henry brushing off Catherine’s cheek?

Yes, NA, MP and Persuasion all will air on Masterpiece Theatre starting in November 2007. We believe the new S&S (which is to be produced by the BBC; the other three will be produced by ITV) will also air on MT.

Well, what about the couple kissing. Do you think that’s Henry and Catherine or someone else? I don’t think those two ladies are from NA. They’re probably form MP or P.

Don’t know what the violin music is; but it’s a prettier ITV trailer than the first ‘gothicky’ trailer.- I’d say it was Henry and Catherine in that eager clutch.
JMO, Felicity J looks better as Catherine than when she speaks- if the first clip was any guide…
