Captions from left to right: Jane and Elizabeth; Elizabeth and Wickham (boo! hiss!); Elizabeth and Darcy (huzzah!); Elizabeth seems to be a little more amenable to Mr. Darcy’s persuasions than previously.

Looks very good! Lucky whoever gets to go. Pretty nice costumes, often they’re worse.

Like the look of the actors. The Lizzy actress seems quite Lizzy-like.

    Lovely, lovely costumes.

Lovely costumes! I like all the actors but I am not convinced by the Lizzy actress, she seems to me more like a Caroline Bingley.

  5. Agnes Says:

No, I saw this production and she was very Lizzy and once she and Mr. Darcy warmed up to each other I thought they had great chemistry. Agnes

Nineteen of us went to the 10/28 matinee, followed by the symposium discussion with the actors. We all had a wonderful time, enjoyed the show tremendously. Of course, there a choice that the adaptor made that we didn’t agree with, but as a whole, it was very satisfying. And Darcy was quite yummy.

As one of the 19, I concur. It was wonderful. And not only was Darcy dishy, so was Wickham. Ah-ummmmmmmm!
