Hi Maggie, Susan here — how does one get these BBC stations here in America? Does anyone know?

  2. Mags Says:

One doesn’t, darling–we’re on the wrong side of the big pond, unfortunately. However, I think the documentary is on the 10th Anniversary edition of the DVDs.

Sorry…I am new to all of this. What does P&P2 mean? I understand the P&P part…but what does “2″ signify?

  4. Mags Says:

The numbers refer to different film adaptations. Lately I’ve been trying to stick to the years rather than the Austen-L numbering system. But since we’re here:

P&P0 - 1940, Greer Garson and Laurence Olivier
P&P1 - 1979, Elizabeth Garvie and David Rintoul
P&P2 - 1995, Jennifer Ehle and Colin Firth
P&P3 - 2005, Keira Knightley and Matthew Macfadyen

    Other adaptations:

    P&P Utah - 2003 modern-set “Mollywood” adaptation
    B&P - Bride and Prejudice
P&PW - Wishbone episode, “Furst Impressions”

  5. Brenda Says:

Thank you Mags! I appreciate your help! I haven’t seen the 1979 version…I will have to put that on my list. :)
