The white glare of Bath in September for Persuasion 2007
We heard from David Baldock, the director of the Jane Austen Centre at Bath, that filming will begin for PERSUASION 2007 in Bath on September 18! This is excellent news, especially in light of disappointment in another quarter.
We dare say the whole film will not be shot there, but at least we’ll get our Bath fix. This is most vital news, indeed.
All those going to Bath next month for the Jane Austen Festival, we expect full reports, preferably with PHOTOS!

It’s rather a coincidence that the filming in Bath is at the same time as the festival! I wonder if the producers were aware of that…

While this news is indeed fantastic, the sulky immature teenager in me wants to pout, stomp on the floor and say “Why do THEY get to film there and not NA?”
Okay, back to being an adult. This is excellent! So happy to know we’ll be seeing Bath in Persuasion! Now to appoint official stalkers, er I mean sightseers to the task of collecting on-the-scene details

Bath, Bath, Bath!! Feeling Kelley B.’s pain though. If any film should be shot in Bath, it’s NA. But I shall resign myself.

Cheer up dears. Remember not ALL of NA takes place in Bath. Of course neither does all of Persuasion. But still…sometimes we must take our blessings where we can get them.
