Bit of MANSFIELD PARK 2007 casting news
Alert Janeite and Internet Hound Sylvia M sent us a link to Iain B. MacDonald’s CV, which lists Hayley Atwell as one of the stars of MANSFIELD PARK 2007–but doesn’t say which part. Sylvia suggests perhaps one of the Bertram sisters, which seems likely. Hayley will appear in RUBY IN THE SMOKE with Billie Piper, who will play Fanny Price. Here is a CV for Hayley with a photo. Hilariously, she also has appeared in a film called FEAR OF FANNY. Tee-hee!

I’d almost picture her as Mary Carwford by that picture and not as like Maria Bertram. And since it does say “Starring Billie Piper & Hayley Atwell” I’d think that Miss Crawford is the second most important woman’s role in MP. But truely she’d do well as either.

I e-mailed Company Pictures to ask about a cast list for MP. This is the reply I received.
