Cast page for Northanger Abbey 2007

Filed under: Northanger Abbey 2007 — Mags @ 11:25 pm

Alert Janeite and Tilney Fangirl Heather L. has put together an excellent cast page for the upcoming adaptation of NORTHANGER ABBEY. Other actors will, of course, be added as information becomes available, but we rather like her placeholders.

Looks like somebody’s been practicing for the moment when he gets to fulfill the High Priestess’ First Corollary.

Yes, I do believe I see him as Henry now.

    Poirot episode!

  2. Ali Says:

Very cool page! And talking about Six Degrees of Jane Austen adaptations, JJ Feild is now filming a movie with Billie Piper called the Ruby in the Stone. She is rumored to be the next Fanny in the new Mansfield Park. There are few pics at photo.wenn.com, but you can’t see him very well..

  3. Angie Says:

I really see him as Henry now!

    Poirot episode!!!

  4. Karenlee Says:

Ooh, click on Feild’s ‘official webpage’ link on Heather’s cast page and look at those EYES! I can just see them dancing with teasing, mischievous, Tilney-ness, can’t you

  5. Laurie Says:

I love that picture of him on her casting page! I am getting so excited about NA2, I can’t wait till we know who else will be in it! JJ does have Tilney eyes, and “if not handsome was very near it”. :)

  6. Mags Says:

Oh, my godfathers. HENRY’S SNOGGING FANNY PRICE. My eyes, my eyes! DOROTHY! My vinaigrette, directly!!!!

(Damn you, Heather, for showing me that! I’m traumatized for life now!)

  7. Heather L Says:

Which is worse: Henry Tilney snogging Fanny Price, or having shagged Caroline Bingley? ;)

  8. Karenlee Says:

Shagging Caroline Bingley? GAH!! I, for one, forgive Henry for his much more minor lapse. On the other hand, I must say that Piper in period costume really does NOT look like my idea of Fanny Price.

P.S. Can someone tell me how you add emoticons and text markup (italics, bold etc) to posts?

  9. Mags Says:

Emoticons should work automatically if you put in a smiley face, that is, colon, dash, paren. If you do colon, dash, capital D, you get the big smile. Semicolon, dash, paren, you get the winky face. Not sure of the others, to be honest with you. They won’t show up in the preview, only after you hit submit.

And markup is regular HTML. <i> </i> for italic, <b> </b> for bold. HTML entities also work if you know the codes (that’s how I made the pointy brackets above).

  10. Kelley B Says:

Fanny does seem to love her clergymen ;-)

  11. David Says:

I personaly would shag Caroline Bingley any time. Shes hot and fiesty. She would be fun to dominate.
