Jane Austen Regency Fan Fiction Index is online

Filed under: Online — Mags @ 12:02 am

A new Austen-related Web site has gone online–the Jane Austen Regency Fan Fiction Index. It is not an archive, but a central, searchable index of stories already archived at the various fan fiction sites that have sprung up in the online Austensphere over the past few years. If you’re in the mood for something angsty about the Darcys, you can search by type of story and situation, characters involved, which novel it is based upon, and many other criteria. We have been tremendously impressed with the energy and organization of this project since we first heard about it, and know that VictoriaCl (and her husband) have worked long hours to put it together. Gunner! Fire another twenty-one-gun broadside salute, if you please!

Please note that only period-set stories have been indexed, not modern-set stories. If you have written a story that is not listed, there is a form to submit stories for consideration.

Victoria has kindly provided a login and password for AustenBlog readers. Click through to get it.

The login is ABReader, and the password is Everywhere — both case sensitive. These passwords will allow access to information about stories appropriate for those age 12 and over.
