A comparison of different versions of P&P2

Filed under: Screen — Mags @ 8:14 pm

Missyisms has posted a handy and very complete comparison of the various tape and disc versions of P&P2 available, including the extras on the upcoming 10th Anniversary version. (And the Editrix has had her share in the conversation!)

Oh, geez, what’s with the Brill-creamed Darcy hair? Have they been reading all that fanfiction where Elizabeth longs to, and/or reaches up to brush back the “errant curls” from Darcy’s forehead? (”Errant curls” may be alternately called “unruly locks.” Take your pick.)

(I claim the right to mock cheesy fanfiction because I’ve written so much of it myself!)

But to be able to straighten the errant curls, they have to be there in the first place!
They surely are depriving Lizzy (read: us) of this particular pleasure! *pout*
