Jane Austen for Beginners

Filed under: Online — Mags @ 8:27 pm

Just in time for all those new Jane Austen fans hatched from the incubator of P&P3 and BECOMING JANE, Alert Janeite Julia wrote to tell us about her new Web site, Jane Austen for Beginners. It’s still a work in progress, but if you’re new to the world of Jane, check it out!

I love it! Though I have to wonder if she isn’t missing something– “Maybe you’ve picked up the idea that Jane Austen is written in Olde English?”

    ;)

Know what?! We/someone should make a site that is entirely devoted to listing all the Jane Austen sites on the Web. All info sites, discussion sites, fan fic sites, bio sites, adaptation sites, etc. I would, except I have no idea how to make a website (well, I know the barest HTML, but yeah).

  3. Mags Says:

Chantel…we’re kinda working on that idea here.

I just browsed the “for beginners” site and had to LOL about the quotes and comments on the quotes to P&P.
    Seems very promising! *g*

Oops! Didn’t see that when I looked around Mollands, Mags! :)
