“Legacy” P&P clips available online
Paul from KeiraWeb.com has kindly made two clips from older film versions of P&P available online.
1967 P&P, starring Celia Bannerman and Lewis Fiander
1980, starring Elizabeth Garvie and David Rintoul

Wow! they are great. At least, if I can’t watch those adaptations, I will have these clips.
It’s a pity that other adaptations’ clips are not available.

Carmen, the 1980 version is pretty readily available, and well worth seeing (it was the first JA adaptation I saw and fell for, albeit rather dated now). It isn’t available in shops in Australia (where I live) or in the UK, but is available in the US. I bought my copy via Amazon, and saw it for sale in New York only last week!

The truth is that I’m from Spain…so if it is not available from Amazon UK…..:’(, I will fave to keep on missing it.
In Spain, JA’s adaptations are a problem to buy or see sometimes. By example, P2 and E3 aren’t available in any DVD shop,….and E2 was available for a while, but we are expecting to be available soon. P&P2 wasn’t in the market till 2004, and it was shown just on cable tv in 1999.
So you can imagine…
