Brontëana wrote to tell us that Paul Gordon posted at the Jane Eyre Musical forum again and said that he will be recording the demo in late January and that some of the tracks will be available on his Web site soon after. We’ll keep an eye out!

Brontëana wrote to tell us about a film produced by the Golden Gate Literary Society called “Literary England,” a cinematic tour of literary sites including “Jane Austen’s Bath.”

As all the tour guides kept insisting upon telling us (with perhaps just a soupçon of annoyance), Jane Austen didn’t much like Bath. We are of the opinion that Jane not only preferred country life but also was distressed at being forced to continuously move within Bath, each time to a less desirable situation. However, Bath is lovely and we cannot wait to return!
