Jane Austen in Vogue (literally)
Several Alert Janeites, including Kira and Lorraine, sent us information about an article in the November issue of Vogue magazine about Jane Austen’s juvenilia. No link unfortunately, but here’s an excerpt:
All three stories are charming glimpses into the wit, comedic talent and uncanny understanding of society that Austen possessed even as a teen.
The article is in the Books section of the “People Are Talking About” feature.

Does anyone have any more information on this? I tore the page out of Vogue, and then lost it. When is this new publication coming out? and who put it together? Thanks for any insight.

The Juvenilia? It’s been published for decades. It is included as part of the Oxford Illustrated editions of Jane Austen’s novels (in the Minor Works volume) and you can buy many of them separately. Here are a few versions I found on Amazon — search for “Jane Austen Juvenilia” and “Jane Austen Minor Works.”
Oxford World Classics
Penguin (also includes the juvenilia of Charlotte Bronte)
I didn’t see any new editions in a quick search, sorry.
