Attention Portland (OR) Janeites!
The Oregonian wants you!
A reporter from the Oregonian would like to interview some Portland-area Janeites about the continuing popularity of Jane Austen’s work. If you are interested in participating, post in the comments, enter your e-mail in the e-mail field (only the Editrix will see it, and will hold it in confidence) and we’ll contact you with the reporter’s information.
Time is of the essence, so please let us know as soon as possible. Thanks!

I am a huge Pride and Prejudice fan and would LOVE to speak to a reporter about P&P or Jane or anything even vaguely related.
I live in Southeast Portland.

Editrix-
Get off your high horse, and don’t think that your opinion is the final word regarding versions of Mansfield Park. Your lack of being open-minded about other people’s view is really really rude. I bet even Jane Austen would have heeded the views of others. She may have disagreed but her replies would not have been as ridiculous and insensitive as yours. oh wait…don’t you want to be Jane Austen?

Anonymous Coward, why are you posting in this thread?
P.S. Debate requires point and counterpoint. I’ve countered, it’s your turn. But please don’t do it in this thread. Thanks.
