Jane Austen is truly world-famous!
P.S. Don’t mean to make anyone paranoid; we are not checking up on you! We really only pay attention to the general numbers (anywhere from 600-1,000 unique visitors per day, most of whom actually have the place bookmarked) because we are sometimes asked. Also we like to know who links to AustenBlog, because we find interesting sites and information that way. 
But we thought this was interesting and wanted to share it!

Thanks for the compliments–I wasn’t fishing, really! (yeah, sure)
I just thought that the international nature of a snapshot of the visitors to one smallish Jane Austen site at one moment in time was really cool! And we love all our visitors from all over the world.
I suspect we have a lot of Aussie visitors, too, but at that time it was the middle of the night for y’all. So not really fair.

Haha I come here almost everyday too - ever since I watched the BBC’s Pride and Prejudice (which led to read the book, which led to watching other Jane Austen adaptations, which led to read some more books… you get the idea). =D
