“One Book, One Chicago” activities

Oh, to be in Chicago in the autumn!

There are lots of activities going on related to the “One Book, One Chicago” selection of Pride and Prejudice, including a chance to win free tickets to an advance screening of P&P3. There will also be public screenings of P&P0, P&P2 and BRIDE AND PREJUDICE, as well as an ensemble reading of selections from the novel at the Steppenwolf Theatre and a stage production at the Northlight Theatre and book discussions and book club meetings all month at various locations throughout the city.

Too bad it’s not nearer! :(
Hmmm…Maybe it’s time to visit my dad’s second cousins on his mother’s side. Wouldn’t they be surprised!!! ;)

The website says P&P2 will be screened at a library, so I think it will not be on the big screen.

I tried to email them because they spelled Bennet with a double T but the email was returned. They also had Jane’s mystery suitor as a fact.

  7. Liz Says:

Vee / I wish! Anyway, thanks to you all at AustenBlog for keeping me informed about all things JA - that helps a lot :)
