Jane Austen’s Guide to Dating available in the U.K.
Alert Janeite Liz sent us this article from the Times about Lauren Henderson’s book, Jane Austen’s Guide to Dating, which we reviewed upon its release. (There seems to be a new edition just released.) The article reveals that the film version starts shooting this year. There is also a P&P3 tie-in of sorts.
The book’s appearance at the same time as the new film version of Pride and Prejudice has done nothing to damage sales. As a girl, Henderson put on puppet shows with its director, Joe Wright. “The movie’s a coincidence, but it is insanely good timing,” she concedes.
