Well, not exactly. Baz Bamigboye had some brief raptures over Rosamund Pike’s portrayal of Jane Bennet in Friday’s issue of the Daily Mail:
. . . Ms Pike invests such a wealth of emotional sensibility into her portrait of Jane that you want to leap out of your seat with happiness when Charles Bingley (Simon Woods) finally gets his act together.
As much as we love Lizzy, we are glad to see she isn’t getting all of the attention. Besides, wasn’t Jane the reputed beauty of the family?
