A bit of PRIDE AND PREJUDICE 2005 Canada release information
No release date yet! However, we have been reliably informed that Universal Pictures Canada will be distributing P&P3 in Canada. There is no information about the film on their Web site, but you can sign up for an e-mail newsletter. We will also be keeping an eye on their site for any information about P&P3 that might come up.

I was an extra for the up and coming British made film Pride and Prejudice in September last year. The Movie will be released in UK cinemas in September 2005. I’m not sure if US and Canada will have an earlier release date or later. All I know is that the filming I was invloved in was SO fun, it took place at Basildon Park (a National Trust Property) in Berkshire, England, which played the part of My Bingly’s home. Keira Knightley, Matthew McFayden, Donald Sutherland, Rosamond Pike, and many other stars were filming there with myself and a few others playing soilders and gentry in the background of a fabulous Ballroom / Party scene, where Elizabeth Bennet meets Mr Darcy for the first time.

Hi Samuel! Thanks for the scoop. What else can you share? Irregardless of comparisons to earlier versions of P&P, do you think this movie will stand on its own and be a hit? Or is it destined to be a flash-in-the-pan film for teenage girls and end up in the bargain bins at video stores by next Christmas?

September 23, 2005 is the release date for limited release (meaning certain UK and US theaters in major cities).
