Jane in Margaritaville
Jane Austen made an appearance in “Stone Soup,” a syndicated comic strip. Two characters–who I believe are sisters named Val and Joan–are discussing their book club meeting, and one Mean-Margarita-Making member is reportedly convinced that Jane would have loved tequila.

LOL! That’s excellent. And so like a book club to talk more about the members’ lives than about the book!
