Win tickets to BRIDGET JONES: THE EDGE OF REASON premiere and after-party

Filed under: Screen — Mags @ 2:07 pm

Robyn sent us a link to enter a contest to win tickets to the U.K. premiere of BRIDGET JONES: THE EDGE OF REASON and the after-party. We pass it on out of sheer altruism, although THEY SPELLED AUSTEN WRONG. *twitch* Also, we think that might be a trick question, but unfortunately feel quite confident that there will be little or no real Persuasion content in the upcoming film, much to our disappointment. We were reallllly hoping for a Sam West cameo.

Don’t crash the servers now, Firth fans.

Thanks for sending the link, Robyn!

Does it cost anything to register? I couldn’t find the answer to my query on the website …

  2. Mags Says:

Doesn’t look like it. I’m sure they’ll let you know before you sign up. The idea is to use it for marketing, I think, so it would be counterproductive to make people pay, don’t you think?

  3. Kirsty Says:

No - it’s free to register - and once you’re registered it seems you can enter the competition as many times as you like!

  4. Mags Says:

I’m surprised the servers aren’t already crying out for mercy at the frenzied clicking of the Firth fans. ;-)

  5. Deb Says:

Be sure to read the fine print — airfare and accomodations are NOT included. Too bad.

  6. Mags Says:

Not an issue for those who live in and around London, the lucky duckies.

  7. Kirsty Says:

Since I’m one of those lucky duckies (I live 20 miles from London) I had been trying to crash their server. Then as I was entering it again today (for good measure), I noticed the words ‘You have already entered this competition’ appear, then quickly disappear. Shame.
Time to join the ‘WT Club’ using my various other e-mail addresses I think!
    ;-)

    Go Kirsty! Take a camera!
